Alpiq implements Resolutions 216/2023/R/com and 267/2023/R/COM by which the Energy Networks and Environment Regulatory Authority adopted, in implementation of Decree-Law No. 61 of June 1, 2023-also known as the "Flood Decree"-urgent provisions on electric, gas, water and integrated urban waste management services, in favor of the populations affected by the exceptional weather events that occurred on or after May 1, 2023.

The resolution provides for:

• The automatic suspension of payment terms of bills issued or to be issued for a period of 4 months from the date of May 1, 2023 until the date of August 31, 2023, without prejudice to payments already made. However, the customer has the option to proceed with the payment of the amounts of invoices and payment notices whose payment terms have been suspended.
• The suspension of the discipline on delinquency suspensions also in the case of delinquency that occurred prior to May 1, 2023

At the end of the suspension period, the amounts whose payment terms have been suspended will be accrued without application of interest to customers and end users, without prejudice to the right of customers to make payment in a non-accrual manner or to pay the amounts due under an installment plan of shorter duration to be agreed with their supplier. Payment of installments, which are noncumulative and of a constant amount, is made:

• with a periodicity equal to the billing periodicity or the frequency of sending payment notices ordinarily applied to the user or end customer;
• on the basis of installments of not less than €20;
• for a period equal to 12 months)
