Ronald Trächsel appointed to Alpiq Board of Directors

At the Ordinary Annual General Meeting of Alpiq Holding Ltd. of 26 April 2023, Phyllis Scholl, who is standing down, was honoured for her commitment on the Board of Directors. She will be succeeded by Ronald Trächsel, who will take up this role on 1 July 2023 for the regular period of office until the next Annual General Meeting. Ronald Trächsel has been CFO of BKW Group since 2014, and will be standing down from this position on 30 June 2023. 'We are delighted to have Ronald Trächsel on board. He is a proven financial expert who is also extremely familiar with the energy sector. He is an ideal addition to the Board of Directors,' says Johannes Teyssen, Chairman of Alpiq’s Board of Directors. Before becoming CFO of BKW, Ronald Trächsel held various CFO and CEO positions, including at the global SIKA Group, the furniture manufacturer Vitra and Ringier International. 'I am delighted that I will now be able to contribute my experience of recent years as a member of the Alpiq Board of Directors,' Ronald Trächsel says.

The Annual General Meeting of Alpiq Holding Ltd. also approved the consolidated and annual financial statements for 2022. The motion to waive a dividend payment was approved due to the uncertainties prevailing in the market.
